Egret flying over Humboldt Bay

This sand carving is done on a ž inch plate with a 1˝ inch bevel.
I inserted this carved bevel into a 2 foot by 2 foot stained glass.
This was installed into a bathroom window in a residence in Trinidad, California.
By using thick glass a deeper carve can be attained giving more shadow to the design.
